We are Luigi Tessier and Derry Procaccini founders of Swiss Natural Med, on this page you will find out who we are and why our philosophy makes us unique, but first let us tell you what prompted us to venture into this ambitious initiative.
First of all two words about us: I, Luigi, am a Swiss pharmacist, member of Pharmasuisse, I have studied in depth Systemic Medicine, Ayurveda and Chinese, Nutraceuticals, Anti-Aging Medicine (which I like to define Well-Aging) and all the possible interactions with the Western Pharmacopoeia.
While, Derry, I’m a specialist in nutrition and research into new natural active ingredients. I am a Kinesiologist, nutrition lecturer, personal trainer and independent scientific researcher.

Unfortunately, after more than 20 years of research, we realized that there was no line of functional foods and supplements that totally lived up to our expectations. There were many reasons for this: artificial sweeteners, artificial flavours, emulsifiers, excipients, synthetic and inorganic isolated molecules were being regularly added to almost all supplements.
We were discouraged by the mediocre standards governing the formulation and production of supplements instead of the excellent level we had always dreamed of finding. But we did not give up; rather, we decided to found “Swiss Natural Med” in Lugano and finally fulfilled our dream: raise the safety standards for food and supplements by offering everyone the opportunity to rely on a Personal Wellness Expert for a personalized 360 ° planning.

Our ecological footprint
At Swiss Natural Med, we also care about the health of our planet; that’s why environmental safety and eco-sustainability are essential values for us:
- we replaced previously used shipment packaging materials with environmentally friendly or recycled products, and we eliminated hard-copy printing. We do not use plastic packaging, and we send invoices only by email.
- Our packaging is environmentally friendly because we use biophotonic glass jars, which can be entirely recycled or reused to store other foods.
- our company cars are 100% electricor hybrid.
